Introduction to Sound Engineering (pt 2)

  • The Drake 302 South Hicks Street Philadelphia, PA, 19102 United States (map)

Gain hands on experience and learn all about what it takes to be a highly sought after Sound Engineer in Philadelphia’s theater world!

Join a group of professional Sound Designers and Engineers for a workshop on sound engineering in Philadelphia. These two sessions will be great for anyone, especially overhire technicians in the greater Philadelphia area, who are interested in learning more about how to work with Sound Designers and manage the sound system in venues like The Drake Theater and The Wilma Theater.

Prices are on a sliding scale per session: $10, $25, $50. We ask for your active participation in deciding your contribution. If a sliding scale is implemented effectively, everyone pays a similar percentage of their income per session. We acknowledge that we live in a world of differing privileges and income disparities.

Instructors: Elizabeth Atkinson, John Kolbinski, Chris Sannino
